In this lesson we are going to learn how to construct a major chord. Once we know how to play our major chords we will learn different variations of it in next lessons to come. Lessons like Chord Extensions and also different way to play the same chord during the lesson, Inversions

A chord is a harmony of three or more notes. For exmaple... Major chords, Major 9th chords, Minor chords, Diminished seventh chords and many more.
Scale Formula
The Major chord consist of 3 notes: 1 + 3 + 5
The 12 different Major Chords
Major chord= 1 + 3 + 5
